Commemorative event titled “Martyrs Never Die, the Homeland Is Indivisible” is held

A commemorative event titled “Martyrs Never Die, the Homeland Is Indivisible” dedicated to the cherished memory of the martyrs of the Karabakh War, was held at Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS.

The event began with a minute of silence to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for the freedom, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of the Homeland.

Kamil Adishirinov, the director of Sheki Regional Scientific Center and docent opened the event with introductory remarks. He noted that the cherished memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty is always honored with deep respect by the people. Emphasizing that the heroism of the martyrs serves as an example of patriotism and national solidarity for future generations, he then gave the floor to Elchin Valiyev, a researcher of the department of History and Epigraphy.

Elchin Valiyev delivered a presentation titled “The path to victory: The heroic chronicle of our martyrs”.

The presentation covered the historical stages of the struggle for Azerbaijan's independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty, as well as the unparalleled heroism and self-sacrifice demonstrated by the martyrs in the Karabakh war.

In conclusion, the speaker noted that the valor displayed by our martyrs for the sake of the Motherland and the heroic path they traversed would live forever in the memory of our people.
