The book presents 109 legends, tales, and folktales, as well as 40 children's fairy tales, collected from members of the older generation in Sheki and its surrounding villages.

The book was edited by Professor Ramazan Gafarli, with reviews provided by Doctor of Philological Sciences, docent Kamil Adishirinov and PhD in Philology Irada Yusifova.

The publication is of significant importance for the collection, preservation, systematization, and transmission to future generations of the rich folklore heritage of the Sheki region.
