A thesis titled "Statistical analysis of the performance indicators of hotels and hotel-type accommodation establishments and their impact on the tourism sector (example of Balakan district) in 2018–2023" authored by the head of the department of Ecological geography, PhD in Geography Qafqaz Aghabalayev  and Elvin Garayev from Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, in collaboration with another co-author has been published in the proceedings journal of the "Akçakoca tourism and economy Symposium" held at Düzce University in Turkey.
