Staff members from the department of Ecological geography at Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS participated online in the "International European Science Congress 2026," held in Montenegro from August 21 to 25, 2026.

Aygun Ismayilova, a researcher of the department, presented a report titled "Spatial organization of tourism routes in Gakh district and their role in sustainable tourism development," while Elvin Rustamov, a junior researcher, presented on "The impact of ecotourism on socio-economic development and its development prospects in Shaki-Zagatala economic region."
