The "Ekinchi" newspaper, which began publication on July 22, 1875, at the initiative of the prominent educator, intellectual and publicist Hasan bey Zardabi, laid the foundation of the Azerbaijani national press. This newspaper carried out an important historical mission in the direction of educating the people, forming national consciousness and providing society with accurate information.

As a symbol of the beginning of this honorable path, July 22 is celebrated in our country as National Press Day. This significant day is one of the important dates when the value of the word, professional journalism, and the role of objective and operational information in society are once again recalled.

Today, the Azerbaijani press is developing in accordance with the requirements of the modern era, based on rich traditions. Journalists, media representatives and specialists working in the field of public relations, who understand the responsibility of the word, are engaged in important activities aimed at properly informing the society, establishing transparent communication and forming a reliable information environment.

The Public Relations Department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center, as an integral part of this mission, also bases its activities on the principles of transparency, efficiency and protection of public interests. One of the main goals of the Department is to provide the public with complete and objective information about the Center's scientific activities, implemented projects and achieved achievements, and to establish reliable information relations with the society.

The employees of the Department actively participate in scientific council meetings, share their ideas and experiences by making speeches at scientific seminars and conferences, and adequately represent the Center at public events held on a city and regional scale.

For their professional activities, responsible approach and contribution to the development of public relations, the employees of the Public Relations Department have been repeatedly awarded Letters of Appreciation, Honorary Decrees and various certificates.

We are very proud to note that among the employees of our department there is also a participant in the Patriotic War. This is a special source of pride for our team and a clear example of the patriotic spirit and commitment of our employees to national values.

Cooperation with the media is of particular importance in communicating the implemented events, achieved results and directions of scientific activity to the public. Thanks to the relationships based on mutual trust established with the mass media and media representatives, the dissemination of information is ensured in an operational, accurate and objective manner.

As the Public Relations Department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center, we believe that professional communication, open information policy and mutual cooperation are important directions of successful activity in the modern era. In this regard, we strive to constantly develop our cooperation with media organizations and journalists and further strengthen our relations with the public.
