A beautiful landscape and neatness have been created on the corner, which was renovated at the initiative of residents, by making flower pots from household waste.

AZERTAC's regional correspondent reports that residents painted the walls, made pots from waste materials and planted colorful flowers. This unique sight arouses the interest of passers-by.

Neighbors have also joined this initiative of resident Ramazan Allahverdiyev. "I started this work three years ago by whitewashing the walls. I saw that it turned out very stylish. Then I decided to plant flowers. First, I planted them at my doorstep, put some in pots and hung them on the wall. Slowly, we decorated the entire street. My neighbors also joined me, and we worked together as soon as we had free time," said R. Allahverdiyev.

The residents of the neighborhood proudly call the corner they live in "Flower Street" and strictly observe cleanliness.

This noble initiative of the residents is also highly appreciated by the Gakh City Municipality. Deputy Mayor Farhad Farhadov considers this step of the residents an indicator of high civic position: "This improvement is not only beauty. It is also about people's comfort, clean breathing and prevention of unsanitary conditions. Where there is such clean air, there are fewer infections and diseases. As a municipality, we have repeatedly discussed the issue of creating improved neighborhoods and streets. However, this step taken by the residents living on the 1st corner of 28 May Street is a real example for everyone. We wholeheartedly welcome such initiatives and are ready to provide all kinds of support to the residents." F. Farhadov also added that proposals have been put forward to apply this good practice of the residents to other streets and corners of the city, and even the heads of a number of neighborhood committees have familiarized themselves with this exemplary work on site.
