On July 13, 2026, the employees of the department of History and Epigraphy of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, PhD in History Akif Mammadli and PhD in Philosophy Aladdin Sultanov continued their scientific expedition research in Balakan district. Within the framework of the expedition, epigraphic monuments existing in the region were examined, and scientific research was conducted on epistolary correspondence and manuscript samples.
