shrem.az reports, referring to science.az, informed that it has been scientifically confirmed that the history of the area where the Sheki Khan Palace is located is much older than previously thought.

In the archaeological research carried out in the territory of the Sheki Khan Palace in 2023–2025, employees of the Department of Archaeology and Ethnography of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS also participated in the archaeological research carried out on the territory of the Sheki Khan Palace as volunteers with permission to gain experience. Their participation in this process contributed to the improvement of their professional knowledge and skills.
