Sheki Regional Scientific Center presented the report on the first half of 2026

On June 23, 2026 the online reporting meeting of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS for the first half of 2026 was held.

The responsible employee of the Presidium of ANAS, PhD in Philology, docent Agahuseyn Shukurov participated online in the reporting meeting and listened to the report on the activities of the center for the first half of 2026.

The director of the center, Doctor of Philology, docent  Kamil Adishirinov opened the meeting and gave brief information about the activities carried out during the reporting period, and expressed gratitude to the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli on behalf of the team for the attention and care he showed to Sheki Regional Scientific Center.

Then, a general report was presented by the scientific secretary Vafa Atayeva. The report provided detailed information on the scientific research work of Sheki RSC for the first half of 2026, publication activities, scientific events held, international and republican level cooperation, as well as scientific results achieved.

The meeting also provided detailed information on the scientific research carried out in the speeches by the heads of the center's scientific research departments on the work done during the first half of 2026, the scientific results achieved, and future action plans. Extensive discussions were held around the reports, and the achievements and current problems in the activities of the departments were analyzed. At the same time, proposals and recommendations were made regarding increasing the efficiency of scientific activity, identifying new research directions, expanding international cooperation relations, and increasing the opportunities for the application of scientific results. Priority tasks for the upcoming period were determined and relevant tasks were given.

In his final speech, docent Agahuseyn Shukurov considered the presented report satisfactory and positively assessed it, emphasizing that the results achieved in the fields of scientific research, organizational and scientific-mass activities carried out in Sheki Regional Scientific Center during the first half of 2026 are commendable. He noted the productivity of the scientific activities of the center's employees and stated that the achievements are in line with the strategic goals set by ANAS. Agahuseyn Shukurov voiced his recommendations on further expanding scientific research, implementing innovative projects and developing scientific cooperation relations in the future. He wished the staff of Sheki Regional Scientific Center new successes in their future activities, expressing his confidence that the work done will be carried out in a sustainable and purposeful manner.
