On June 19, 2026, a meeting of the New Azerbaijan Party SRSC Territorial Party Organization was held in  Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS.

First, the dear memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the sons of the Motherland who gave their lives for the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of our lands, was commemorated with a minute of silence.

At the meeting, the report of the deputy chairman of the Territorial Party Organization Yusif Rahimov on the organization's activities during the reporting period was heard.

Then, in connection with the death of the Chairman of the Territorial Party Organization, PhD in Physics Yusif Shukurlu, an election was held for the positions of chairman and deputy chairman in the organization. According to the results of the elections, the director of Sheki Regional Scientific Center, PhD in philology, docent Kamil Adishirinov was re-elected as the Chairman of the NAP SRSC Territorial Party Organization, and Yusif Rahimov, Chief of the Civil Defense Headquarters of Sheki RSC, was re-elected as the Deputy Chairman.

Finally, Ziya Valiyev, Deputy Chairman of the NAP Sheki District Organization, spoke about the important role of the New Azerbaijan Party in the socio-political life of the country. He said that the party has been working hard to strengthen the traditions of statehood, protect national interests and develop society over the past period. Ziya Valiyev emphasized that intellectuals, youth and active citizens who have united in the ranks of the New Azerbaijan Party continue to contribute to the socio-economic progress of the country.

In his speech, he called on the members of the territorial party organization to be more active and to participate closely in the projects and initiatives being implemented. Ziya Valiyev also noted the importance of educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, developing their scientific potential and further strengthening ties with society.

The speaker congratulated the newly elected chairman Kamil Adishirinov and deputy chairman Yusif Rahimov, wished them success in their future activities, and expressed confidence that the organization would continue to actively participate in fulfilling its tasks.

At the end of the event, Shahmar Babayev, who was newly admitted to the New Azerbaijan Party, was presented with a membership card and was wished success in his future socio-political activities.
