Head of Ecological geography department of ANAS, Sheki Regional Scientific Center PhD in geography Gafgaz Agabalayev and the employee of the department Elvin Garayev participated in the XXIV International Istanbul Conference held on February 20-22, 2026 in the Republic of Turkey in online format.  

They delivered a report at the conference on the topic “Dynamics and structural analysis of product output in the main sectors of the economy (2018–2023) (for Balakan region)”. The presented thesis was published in the collection “Conference Materials”.
