"In accordance with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Civil Defense" and "Mobilization preparation and mobilization in the Republic of Azerbaijan", and the civil defense action plan of ANAS for 2025, the Head of the Civil Defense Department of the Presidium of ANAS Nizami Valiyev visited Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS on June 19, 2025, in order to monitor the implementation of civil defense and military demobilization work in the regional scientific departments and centers of ANAS in accordance with the requirements of the legislation and to provide methodological assistance.

The Chief of the Civil Defense Headquarters of Sheki RSC Yusif Rahimov introduced Nizami Valiyev with the work done in the Center related to civil defense and the training room. Nizami Valiyev emphasized that the work done was satisfactory, and in addition, he gave recommendations for further improvement of civil defense work and the training room.

Also, Nizami Veliyev provided Ulviyya Osmanova, the head of the Human Resources Department of the Sheki RSC, with "methodological assistance in mobilization preparation and mobilization-related work." Nizami Veliyev then met with the Center's employees, commended the exemplary activities of Sheki Regional Scientific Center in the field of civil defense, provided advice on civil defense, answered questions from employees, and listened to their suggestions. Finally, Yusif Rahimov, the head of the Civil Defense Headquarters of Sheki RSC, was awarded the Honorary Order of the Free Trade Union of ANAS for his high professionalism and selfless activity in implementing civil defense work.
