The co-authored article "Physiologically active compounds in the fruits of Smilax excelsa L" by the employees of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS - Scientific Secretary Vafa Atayeva, PhD in biology. Farhad Azizov and PhD in Biology, docent  Zerbali Khalilov, together with Nurmammad Mustafayev and Hilal Imanli, was published in the International Journal of Secondary Metabolite SCOPUS-indexed journal.

The article reflects the research conducted to identify physiologically active substances in bioextracts obtained from the fruits of the Maravca plant and their results.
