14 members of the Scientific Council and scientific workers participated in the meeting.

Opening the meeting, the General Director of Sheki RSC, PhD in physics, docent Yusif Shukurlu introduced the participants to the issues on the agenda, and the agenda was put to a vote.

The first item on the agenda was "On the submission of Associate Professor Yusif Shukurlu's doctoral dissertation to the relevant Scientific Council", the director presented the abstract of the dissertation. It was noted that the compilation of the abstract complies with the rules for compiling abstracts of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The deputy director, PhD in philological sciences, docent Kamil Adishirinov reported about the second item on the agenda "Discussion of decisions and orders received from the Presidium of ANAS to Sheki RSC in April 2025". He noted that two events related to the orders and decisions received in April - a scientific-practical conference on the celebration of the Science Day, a scientific-practical conference on the topic "The Musical World of Uzeyir Hajibeyli" were held, and other events will be held in the coming months.

Then, current issues were discussed. The first issue was "About the books planned to be published in 2025 in Sheki RSC" reported by the director the Library Gunel Musayeva.

The next issue was about "The organization of the scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Academician Yagub Mahmudov" reported by the Scientific secretary Vafa Atayeva.

The third issue was about "The competitive re-election of heads of scientific-research departments" reported by the head of the Human Resources department Ulviyya Osmanova.
