On December 12, 2024, the staff of Sheki RSC visited the monument complex of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev. Then, the Day of Remembrance of the National Leader was celebrated in the assembly hall of Sheki RSC.

First, the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the sons of the Motherland who sacrificed their lives for the integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated.

The director of Sheki RSC, PhD in Physics, docent  Yusif Shukurlu noted that the life path of the great leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, a brilliant personality who left a bright and indelible mark on modern world history, a person with extraordinary intelligence, innate talent, and a wise statesman, was an exemplary school that embodied high moral qualities.

Yusif Rahimov, Chief of the Civil Defense Headquarters of Sheki RSC, said that the years when the national leader Heydar Aliyev led our country entered our history as a period of renaissance, national progress, national awakening, and independent state building. He emphasized that today, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and his close comrade-in-arms, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, every success that Azerbaijan has achieved in both domestic and foreign policy is the embodiment of the great leader's intelligence and the triumph of the ideas he left behind.
