On November 27, 2024, the next Scientific Council meeting of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS was held.

16 members of the Scientific Council, scientific workers participated in the meeting.  

Opening the meeting, the Director of Sheki RSC, PhD  in Physics, docent  Yusif Shukurlu introduced the agenda to the participants, and the agenda was put to a vote.

The agenda item was approved by the heads of 8 scientific research departments of Sheki RSC - Head of the Department of Landscape Studies, PhD in Geology Huseyn Mustafabeyli, Head of the Department of History, Archaeology and Epigraphy, PhD in Science Rahim Hasanov, Head of the Department of Ecological Geography PhD in Geography Reports on the annual work plans of Gafgaz Agabalayev, Head of the Department of Plant Biochemistry, Doctor of Biological Sciences, docent  Zarbali Khalilov, Head of the Department of Ecological Biophysics Yevgeniya Bakirova, Head of the Department of Literary and Cultural Environment, Folklore and Ethnography Tarana Abdullayeva, Head of the Department of Mulberry Silkworm Selection Gudurat Bakirov, Chief Agronomist of the Department of Plant Biodiversity and Gene Fund Ilgar Seyidov were heard.

The reports were considered satisfactory.

Finally, Head of the Department of Landscape Science of Sheki RSC, Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy Huseyn Mustafabeyli was awarded the Honorary Decree “For long-term productive activity in the field of science and on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his birth”.
