Sheki Regional Scientific Center participated in the exhibition dedicated to Cop29 in ANAS with a newly published book

The book "Natural resources of Karabakh and East Zangezur regions and their landscape-diagnostic features", published in Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS by PhD in geol.-min. Huseyn Mustafabeyli, director of Sheki RSC, PhD in physics, docent  Yusif Shukurlu, was demonstrated in the exhibition dedicated to Cop29 in ANAS.

The book, published with the opinions of the scientific management of PhD in biology, docent Zarbali Khalilov, PhD in biology Farhad Azizov and PhD in geography of Gafgaz Agabalayev is dedicated to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) and to the assessment of the current state of the landscapes of Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, which are rich in natural resources and have been damaged under the 30-year Armenian occupation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The purpose of the preparation of the book is to provide assistance in the restoration of the damaged landscapes of Karabakh and East Zangezur regions by using the opportunities of landscape science and the experience gained in scientific research conducted in other areas of the world, especially in the neighboring Sheki-Zagatala region.

It should be noted that students studying in natural sciences, masters, scientific workers - ecologists, geologists, geographers, soil scientists, landscape scientists, agronomists, etc. can benefit from the book.

We would like to inform those who wish to use the book in question that the book "Natural resources of Karabakh and East Zangezur regions and their landscape-diagnostic features" has been placed in the electronic catalog of the Central Scientific Library of ANAS.

It has also been presented to the fund of the Azerbaijan State Library named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov. We congratulate the scientific staff who worked hard on the creation of the book and wish them success in their future activities.
