On November 15, 2024, "National Revival Day" was celebrated within the framework of joint cooperation with the participation of the employees of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS and "Naringala" Folklore House.

The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played and the memory of the sons of the country who died for the independence and territorial integrity of our country was commemorated.

Firstly, the deputy director on general affairs of Sheki RSC, PhD on biology Farhad Azizov noted that the national revival movement is one of the main events in the heroic history of the people on the way to the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence, and emphasized that the 17-day "Meydan movement" was engraved in history as an important stage in the restoration of Azerbaijan's independence.

Then the floor was given to Rahim Hasanov, Head of the Department of History, Archeology and Epigraphy of Sheki Regional Scientific Center. He gave a speech on the topic "The road to the restoration of independence". The reporter, since November 17 - National Revival Day, which is one of the main stages of the freedom struggle of the Azerbaijani people, played a historical role in the restoration of the country's independence, and since this history, which took its moral foundations and beginning from the 50s of the last century, later became irreversible with the political foresight and wisdom of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. Rahim Hasanov added the fact that in 1988 the UN named the Azerbaijani people as the "People of the Year" as an indicator of the national struggle is also very remarkable and proud.

The head of the Landscape science department of Sheki RSC, PhD on geo-minerology Huseyn Mustafabeyli spoke about the struggle for independence and the struggle for freedom of the Azerbaijani people, who have gone through a tumultuous history and survived the trials of centuries. He also emphasized that the people have crossed the historical path full of struggles and reached the path of freedom, independence and revival.

Later, the floor was given to Gunay Mammadova, artistic director of "Naringala" Folklore House. She said that the end of the 80s of the 20th century was characterized as a period of political awakening and active participation of the Azerbaijani people in political processes, that the people's movement, which turned into a national liberation movement, and thanks to the purposeful policies of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and his worthy successor Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, and she noted that Azerbaijan has become a state with a voice in the world today.

Yasin Mammadov, a methodologist of the "Naringala" Folklore House, drew attention to the fact that the moral, psychological and economic base created by the great leader Heydar Aliyev was the support of the people after the collapse of the Soviet Union on the historical-political path from national revival to national progress.

In the end, director of "Naringala" Folklore House Zeynab Gaffarova, thanked Yusif Shukurlu head of Sheki RSC, PhD on physics, docent and congratulated our people on the National Revival Day, which is a symbol of unity, pride and perseverance.
