On the occasion of November 8-Victory Day and November 9 National Flag Day of Azerbaijan, an event called "The day of victory is the day of pride" was held at Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS.

The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the integrity of our lands were commemorated.

The event was opened by Sheki RSC, PhD on physics, docent  Yusif Shukurlu congratulated our people on the occasion of both holidays and said that the Patriotic War, which resulted in the return of our occupied lands, became the brightest page of our history, a source of pride and pride of the Azerbaijani people. He emphasized that the people of Azerbaijan should unite like a fist around their leader - the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev - and demonstrate their strength and struggle to the whole world during the Patriotic War.

Then the speech was given to Sheki, Head of the Department of History, Archeology and Epigraphy of REM, Ph.D. It was given to Rahim Hasanov. In his speech entitled "The Road to the Day of Victory", the speaker said that it is commendable that Azerbaijan, which is constantly attracting attention due to its geostrategic position and natural resources and has been invaded by foreigners, in the 21st century, is evaluated as the result of the unity of the leader-people-army. On the basis of historical facts, he pointed out that the heroism of the Azerbaijani people and the determination to fight are based on ancient roots, and that the state of Azerbaijan, built by President Ilham Aliyev on the solid foundation laid by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, who is the bearer of these genetic codes, today has a voice in the world and has great economic and military power. .

Ruslan Samadov, an employee of Sheki RSC, a participant in the Patriotic War, congratulated our people on the occasion of the glorious Victory Day and said that he was proud to be one of the sons of the country who always united around the Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in preserving the integrity of Azerbaijan.
