On May 17, 2024, a scientific-practical conference on the theme "The world is our home" was held under the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" under the joint organization of the Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS and Varazat village secondary school. At the event, the employees of Sheki RSC - the head of the landscape science department, geo-min.u.f.d. Huseyn Mustafabayli, scientific worker Murad Gahramanov, head of the Department of Ecological Geography, PhD on geography Gafgaz Agabalayev, Ayshan Salmanova, scientific worker of Ecological Biophysics Department, scientific worker of Literary-Cultural Environment, Folklore and Ethnography Department Tural Adishirinov, Elvin Garayev, an employee of Ecological Geography Department, teachers and students of Sheki Varazat village secondary school participated.

Khadija Nurmammadova, the director of Varazat village secondary school, who opened the event with her opening speech, welcomed the participants, thanked the employees of Sheki RSC, personally the director Yusif Shukurlu for their support in the joint organization of the event, and wished success to the work of the event.

The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the souls of our martyrs who died for the integrity of our Motherland were remembered with a minute of silence.

Later, PhD on geography Gafgaz Agabalayev, biology teacher Gumru Khalilova, scientific worker Ayshan Salmanova, geography teacher Shafaq Zahirova, scientific worker Tural Adishirinov, Zeynab Hamidli, Nazrin Ahmadova, Fidan Nuriyeva on environmental problems that concern the world, climate changes and their negative effects on the living world, ecological culture topics performed. Opinions were exchanged around the reports.

Books and a letter of thanks were presented to Khadija Nurmammadova as a gift from Sheki Regional Scientific Center, and a letter of thanks was presented to Sheki RSC by the director of the school.

In the end, PhD on geo-min  Huseyin Mustafabayli stressed that there is a call to expand the activities in the field of green world protection and environmental protection in our country in 2024.

After the official part ended, music and poems were played in the artistic part. The event continued around the tea table.
