On April 26, 2024, the employees of Ecological Geography Department of Sheki RSC, head of the Department, PhD on geography Gafgaz Agabalayev, scientific worker Agil Mustafayev, laboratory assistant Elvin Garayev visited Laza village of Gabala district, the Demiraparanchay territory. In the course of research, studies were carried out in the direction of studying the ecological situation and tourism potential of Laza village and surrounding areas.

It should be noted that the village of Laza is located 8 km north-east of Gabala district, at an altitude of 1411 m above sea level.
