On April 23, 2024, the next exercise of the Civil Defense Headquarters was held in Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS.

Yusif Rahimov, head of the Civil Defense Headquarters of Sheki RSC, who opened the event with an opening speech, noted that the main purpose of the training was to conduct awareness work in the field of emergency protection, to teach the rules of using primary firefighting tools and equipment, personal and collective protective equipment, as well as to train the participants of the course improving the skills of managing civil defense forces and means. He also informed about the organization of the new structure of the non-militarized CD forces in the Center, the readiness of the CD forces, the duties of the manga commanders and members of the CD forces during emergencies.

Rahim Abdurahmanov, deputy director for general affairs of Sheki RSC, spoke on the topic of increasing theoretical knowledge in the field of fire fighting, basic principles of combustion theory, fire methods, obligations related to fire safety.

In the training, the rules of using collective protection means, correct preparation of evacuation plans, correct behavior during natural and man-made emergencies, and the use of rescue tools and equipment were explained, as well as videos related to the topics were shown.
