A decision has been made according to the scientific secretary of Sheki Regional Scientific Center, dissertation student of the Institute of Physics of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vafa Atayeva’s dissertation work on the topic "Study of anthocyanin pigments formed in leaf tissues as a natural dye for protein fibers" and the preliminary results obtained in the research direction of the Department of "Environmental Biophysics" Republic of Azerbaijan The Patent and Trademark Expertise Center under the Intellectual Property Agency published information on the claim document No. a 2023 0057 dated April 17, 2023, regarding the registration and patenting of the invention entitled "Method for obtaining a natural-based biocomposite" on December 27, 2023. She noted that the authors of the invention are Scientific Secretary of Sheki RSC Vafa Atayeva, director of Sheki RSC, PhD on physics, docent Yusif Shukurlu, deputy director of scientific affairs, PhD on biology Farhad Azizov.

Vafa Atayeva added that some of the physico-chemical studies of the obtained bioextract and biocomposite were carried out in relevant laboratories of the Institute of Biophysics of AR SEM, and the said biocomposite is used in pharmacy, tissue engineering, various burns (radiation, traffic, burn, mechanical), wounds, skin diseases , at the same time it is intended to be applied in cosmetology, the Center is currently working on expanding research in this direction.
