On February 9, 2024, a seminar was held at Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the scientific-theoretical pedagogical magazine "Azerbaijan School".

Scientific workers of Sheki RSC participated in the seminar.

First, the library manager of the Center, Gunel Musayeva, gave information about the activities of the journal, and recently, international summarization and indexing of the journal such as Calameo, Academia.edu., Index Copernicus, Doaj, Idealonline, Türk Egitim Index, Google Schoolar, OAJI, Internet Archive, Acribd, Slideshare said that it will be placed in the bases.

Later, Vafa Atayeva, the Scientific Secretary of Sheki RSC made a speech on "Azerbaijani school in the history of pedagogical media of Azerbaijan". She noted that "Azerbaijan School" magazine is valued as an educational institution for its invaluable services in education and science. The speaker emphasized that "Azerbaijan school" magazine has been active under the 3 different names - "New school", "Teacher's help" and "Azerbaijan school" at different times in the history of the Azerbaijani pedagogical press. She also added that during its existence, this magazine has always attracted attention with its materials based on knowledge and skillful, creative thinking, experience of teachers of developed advanced countries, contributing to the improvement of the quality of education, instilling in young people the preservation of national customs and traditions, and the magazine has been running for many years, the work and ideas of hundreds of thinkers, pedagogues, educators, teachers and methodists played an important role in the life of the people. She also drew attention to the undeniable fact that the reason for any press organ to live for 100 years is the presence of the representatives of that nation who constantly write and create, have innate talent, and have inexhaustible living resources.

At the end, the proposals related to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the magazine were discussed, deputy director for scientific affairs of Sheki RSC, PhD on biology Farhad Azizov offered to hold a scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the magazine and to publish articles on the magazine's activities in the mass media, together with Sheki branch of ASPU on "March 27th Science Day".
