The 70th anniversary of Yevgeniya Bekirova, head of Ecological Biophysics Department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, was celebrated

On January 26, 2024, Yevgeniya Bekirova, head of Ecological Biophysics Department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center is 70 years old.

Yevgeniya Bekirova was born on January 26, 1954 in Feodosia, Ukraine, in a military family. Later, his father, the prominent scientist Bakirov Mammademin Yagub Oghlu, moved to Baku with his family and engaged in scientific activity at the Institute of Physics of ANAS. It should also be noted that Mammademin Bakirov directly participated in the creation of Sheki Zonal Scientific Base (Sheki Regional Scientific Center) of ANAS in 1972.

Yevgeniya Bekirova, after graduating from secondary school in Baku in 1971, entered the evening department of the Faculty of Physics of ASU, from the same year she worked as an electrical fitter in the Special Design Bureau under the Institute of Physics of ANAS, and was promoted from the 1st to the 6th degree. From 1974, she worked as a chief laboratory assistant at the Laboratory of Non-Equilibrium Electronic Processes in Semiconductors of the Institute of Physics, and in 1975-1978, she worked as an engineer at "Caspian" EM and KKB of ANAS.

Yevgeniya Bekirova is currently the head of Ecological Biophysics Department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS.
