On November 7, 2023, a meeting was held with the families of the martyrs in the assembly hall of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS.

The employees of Sheki Regional Scientific Center and the families of the martyrs participated in the event.

The memory of our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The director of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS Ph.D. on physics, docent Yusif Shukurlu opened the event and greeted the participants and congratulated them on Victory Day. He noted that in accordance with the instructions of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, constant attention and care is given to the families of martyrs in all parts of the country. Also, in order to protect the rights of the families of martyrs, to help them solve their socio-economic and moral problems more effectively, the establishment of the "Department for the organization of work with the participants of the Patriotic War and the families of the martyrs" in the structures of the "Yashat" Foundation and local executive authorities, the head of the department and the senior adviser also emphasized that the selection from veterans is a clear example of the state's concern for the families of martyrs and participants of the Patriotic War.

Then Reyhan Manafova, head of the Public Relations Department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center, gave a speech on the topic "I became a martyr so that the Motherland may live." In her speech, the speaker noted that the dear memory of our heroic sons who were martyred for the freedom, indivisibility and integrity of the Motherland will never be forgotten by our people. She sounded the poems "I am the Motherland", "Motherland", "Eagle of the Motherland", reflecting the themes of the Motherland, the peak of martyrdom, and the great Victory.
