On October 12, 2023, the employees of the "Literary-cultural environment, folklore and ethnography" department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS - head of the department Irada Yusifova and researcher Tural Adishirinov visited the villages of Ashaghi Kungut, Chapagan, Kudurlu of the Sheki region.

The employees of the center met with Khayyam Ibrahimov, executive representative of Kudurlu village and Azer Samadli, deputy executive representative of Ashagi Kungut-Chapagan, and obtained information about the population of the village and the general occupation of the population. Later, by the staff of Scientific Center, Malakat Imamova, deputy director for educational affairs of Kudurlu General Village Secondary School, with village teachers - Roya Gojayeva, Aysel Suleymanova, Parvana Alkhasova, as well as residents of Ashagi Kungut village - Ayaz Gurbanov, Mammad Ismayilov, Salamat Samadova, DOST LLC- extensive conversations were held with Vusal Karimov, the social worker of the village of Chapagan, and Hikmat Latifov, the elder of Chapagan village.

Detailed information about the customs and folklore of all three villages has been collected.
