On August 30, 2023, a round table entitled "Heydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani language" was organized in the administrative building of the Reserve with the organization of Sheki "Yukhari Bash" National Historical Architectural Reserve and Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS. Mammad Ahmadov, director of Shaki "Yukhari Bash" National Historical Architectural Reserve, opened the event, greeted the event participants and guests, and wished success to the event. Zemina Rasulova, researcher of Shaki "Yukhari Bash" National Historical Architectural Reserve, in her speech entitled "National leader Haydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani language", paid special attention to the development of culture, as in all spheres of socio-political and socio-economic life during the first and second leadership of the great leader to Azerbaijan. He highlighted the steps taken in the direction of raising the Azerbaijani language to the state level and protecting the purity of the language. Reyhan Manafova, head of the "Public Relations" department, spoke about the historical development process of our native language and the role and importance of language in the formation of national identity in his report on "Mother language and national identity". Vasif Pashayev, deputy director of Shaki "Yukhari Bash" National Historical Architectural Reserve, gave a comparative analysis of words in the ancient Sumerian language with words in Azerbaijani Turkish in his speech entitled "Azerbaijan Sumerian Cultural Relations". Elshan Abdurahmanov, the Scientific Secretary of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, in his speech entitled "Issue of the Albanian language and alphabet in historiography", gave extensive information about the inscriptions written in the Albanian alphabet, artifacts, reasons for the disappearance of the Albanian language and alphabet.
