On August 28, 2023, Akif Mammadli, a senior researcher of "History, Archeology and Epigraphy" department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, and Aygul Khalilova, a junior researcher, visited the Balakan region for the purpose of collecting data in accordance with the department's research direction.
During the expedition, employees of the Department of "History, Archeology and Epigraphy" conducted personal conversations with elderly residents, took photos of women's clothing and ornaments from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
