On July 21, 2023, the next Scientific Council meeting of Sheki RSC of ANAS was held. Director of Sheki Regional Scientific Center, Ph.D. on physics, docent Y.Shukurlu, who opened the meeting with the introduction, introduced the members of the council to the issues on the agenda, and the agenda was accepted by voting.

Associate Professor Yusif Shukurlu introduced the Council participants to the decision No. 16/14 of the meeting of the ANAS Presidium dated July 12, 2023 on partial changes in the structure of Sheki RSC. He noted that this decision of the Presidium is the result of the personal attention of the president of ANAS Isa Habibbeyli to Sheki RSC and it is our duty to justify the trust shown to us.

Then, doctor of pedagogic sciences, professor F.Ibrahimov gave information about the work done in preparing the book "Prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev and Shaki - the renaissance of silk industry" for publication. He noted that the working group for the preparation of the book has already been determined, discussions and division of work have been held together. The professor added that the main goal of preparing the book is to historicize real events and present them to future generations. In this sense, in order to interpret the truth, it is necessary to take such an element of it that does not violate the property of the whole, the professor added.

Aydın Mammadov, an employee of the Sheki Culture Center named after M.F. Akhundzade, who was invited to the scientific council as a guest and was included in the working group of the book "Prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev and the renaissance of Sheki-sericulture", spoke about the use of archival materials, "Sheki workers" and "Ipekchi" newspapers in the preparation of the book stressed the expediency of doing it and promised to provide practical help in this matter.

The head of the "Literary-cultural environment, folklore and ethnography" department I. Yusifova, announced the decision No. 16/5 of the Presidium of ANAS and noted that according to paragraph 3 of the decision, a working group was created to conduct research on "Gobrova and Sheki humor", and division of work was carried out. .

Later, Yusif Rahimov, the head of the "Ecological Geography" department, brought to the attention of the Council members the text of the presentation on the promotion of Qafqaz Agabalayev, senior researcher of the department, to the position of leading researcher. Y. Rahimov noted that the possibility of solving the presentation from a legal point of view is the "Uniform Tariff-specialization Survey Booklet of the servant position in the field of science and scientific service" approved by the decision No. 12 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 30, 2017.

At the end, the current issues on the agenda were discussed and decisions were made regarding the discussed issues.
