On June11, 2023the next Scientific council meeting of ANAS Sheki RSC was held. The director of Sheki RSC, PhD on physics, docent Y.H.Shukurlu informed the participants about agenda and it was voted and adopted.

Docent Yusif Shukurlu informed widely about the visit of the president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbbayli to Sheki Regional Scientific Center. He noted that, academician Isa Habibbayli got acquainted with the done works in Sheki RSC. Yusif Shukurlu noted about the offer of I.Habibbayli about changing “Historical heritage and ethnography” to “History, archeology and ethnography” and “Folklore and crafts” to “Literary environment and folklore”. Docent Yusif Shukurlu  added the information about the meeting of I.Habibbayli with the employees was published in the publication of “Elm” paper dated July 7, 2023. The director of SRSC brought to the attention of the participants of the Scientific Council information about the organization of an international scientific conference in Sheki, the publication of a book dedicated to the 50th anniversary of SRSC, and gave the relevant tasks.     

Later, deputy director for scientific affairs of SRSC, Ph.D on biology Farhad Azizov emphasized that the reports of SRSC for the first half of the year were heard on June 19-24 and the research results were conducted at the appropriate level, according to the research plan for 2021-2025. During the hearing of the reports, he expressed his attitude to the difficulties arising in connection with the implementation of scientific research plans of the respective departments.

Kamil Adishirinov, leading researcher of SRSC, Ph.D on philology, docent informed about the organization of the regional event called "The Image of Heydar Aliyev in the Creativity of Regional Writers" included in the Event Plan prepared by the Scientific Center in connection with the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader. After discussions, it was decided to organize the event in B.Vahabzade's home museum, to inform regional writers about the event and ensure their participation.

Tural Adishirinov, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of SRSC gave information about the "Innovative idea camp of young scientists" held in Sheki on June 26-July 1, 2023, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Council of Young Specialists of ANAS. He noted that educational seminars on 7 topics were organized in the camp. At the summer camp, Sheki pointed out that two employees of SRSC were represented as participants and awarded with a certificate.

 Gunel Musayeva, the chief specialist of the "Scientific and technical information" department of SRSC, informed about the prospects of cooperation with the Institute of Agrochemistry and Soil Science of SRI. She said that there is an international soil ecology laboratory at that institute, as well as a mobile laboratory, and they can assist Sheki RSC in conducting a number of analyzes within the framework of mutual cooperation. After the speeches and proposals of the members of the scientific council, a decision was made to cooperate with the Institute of Agrochemistry and Soil Science.

At the council meeting, a discussion was held on changing the management of the "Public Relations" department of the Scientific Center, and it was considered appropriate to appoint Reyhan Manafova, a scientific worker of the "Historical Heritage and Ethnography" department of SRSC, as the head of the department.
