On June 22-23, 2023, the National Aviation Academy held the 1st International scientific-practical conference on "Artificial intelligence technologies and aerospace problems" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. The conference continued with plenary reports on sections after the opening speech of the rector of the National Aviation Academy academician Arif Pashayev.

In the plenary lectures, the director of Sheki RSC of ANAS, docent Yusif Shukurlu made a presentation entitled "Important findings related to archeology and cultural heritage in the northwestern region of Azerbaijan owning to Artificial Intelligence".

In the presentation, the documentation and preservation of archaeological and cultural heritage (ACH) using the capabilities of artificial intelligence - remote sensing with satellites, receiving 3G video data for operational analysis from several sources - took the main place. The researcher said that the highest results - using the data received from satellites at different times of the year - the network of archaeological remains "Mother Fire" on the Danavech Plateau, as well as the portrait of Genghis Khan in military uniform looking at the sky - God, one of the bush pictographs carved on the rock on the Cham Plateau and its surroundings.

We are of the opinion that the buta pictograph in one of the prayers dedicated to the "Mother Fire" totem by the Mongols in religious ceremonies belongs to the branch of the "Elm" tree. There are other signs and pictures carved on stones and rocks, notes written in the ancient Mongolian alphabet and Mongolian squares on which laws were written, inscriptions indicating the date of creation of these monuments. Tamarchin tributary (the name of this river tributary, named after the great leader of the Turkic world Chingiz Khan, is popularly called "Damarcin"), the current state of the valley during the 8 centuries that have passed since the creation of the monuments, the basic landscape that has occurred in the Tamarchin valleys, which have a wide valley and the highest flood risk, of the Kish River changes are clearly visible. Y. Shukurlu noted that these data, i.e. the landscape changes in the Tamarchin valley, can be used to obtain predictions about strong floods that may occur in the future. Taking all this into account, it can be said that in the near future, more accurate information will be obtained by using artificial intelligence methods applied to the detection of objects in potential areas in the last ten years with the aim of creating an ecotourism network in the mentioned area by archaeologists and ecologists.

We congratulate teacher Yusif and wish him success in his scientific activities.
