Deputy director on scientific affairs, PhD on biology Farhad Azizov informed that according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated September 29, 2022 a series of events were planned by Sheki RSC in connection with the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Haydar Aliyev". As the beginning of the ceremony on February 27, 2023 scientific-practical conference named “Victory march of Haydar Aliyev ideas” was held with the organization of ANAS, Sheki RSC and Sheki branch of ASPU. F. Azizov informed that as part of the "Plan of Actions" prepared by Shaki RSC in this direction, a seminar entitled "Services of national leader Heydar Aliyev in creating the foundation for the independence of our republic, formation and development as a sovereign state" was organized today in Shaki RSC. F.Azizov informed that the report of Professor Firadun Ibrahimov, senior researcher of Sheki RSC of ANAS, will be heard and there will be speeches around the report.

Prof. F.Ibrahimov in his wide-ranging report spoke about the great politician succeeded in making favorable decisions on the most important issues necessary for the development of his homeland and people in various fields of economy and culture, first at the level of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, plenums of the Central Committee, congresses of the Communist Party, his tireless, day and night struggle for the progress of his native Azerbaijan. He noted that turning Azerbaijan into a self-sufficient, independent, and scientifically advanced country was a part of the national leader's plans, in short, Haydar Aliyev started the path to independence of our homeland at that time. Today, there are hundreds of residential buildings, hotels, public buildings, schools, palaces of culture, factories, huge industrial facilities, large production complexes, reservoirs, lakes, the Kura water pipeline, which make up the core of our economy, which give beauty to Baku and the regions of Azerbaijan, recreation centers, several roads, including the Baku-Balakane railway, which connects the northwestern tip of the country to the capital, important measures taken to increase the connection of Karabakh to the center of Baku and revive the Azerbaijani environment there, the construction of a railway to Khankendi is the result of Heydar Aliyev's ingenuity, his tireless action, the love of Motherland absorbed into the whole being of this great man.

Deputy Chairman of Territorial Party Organization of NAP Yusif Rahimov expressed his gratitude to the speaker for the rich and comprehensive information provided, and advised the representatives of the young generation to study the life path of the great leader Haydar Aliyev, to learn about his rich statecraft, and to benefit from it.

Docent Gudurat Bakirov emphasized in his speech that today the policy of our national leader is successfully and confidently continued, strong and influential Azerbaijan is conquering new heights. Huge energy projects implemented under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, extensive landscaping and construction works carried out in the country, especially in the territories freed from occupation, do not mean that Azerbaijan, which is developing on the basis of the ideas of the great leader Heydar Aliyev, is moving towards a successful future, and the present and future of our country are in safe hands.

At the end of the event, an exhibition reflecting the memory of the great leader was viewed.
