“Ecological geography” department of ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center learns ecological environment of the area and conduct researches realizing monithorings and expeditions in the basins of flooded mountain rivers of North-West region of the Republic according to the work plan of 2020 and the directions of ANAS on 2020-2025 years.    

The purpose of the work consist of ensuring stability in ecological sphere, at the same time protecting environment, sustainable use of natural resources, management of the impact of natural factors to agriculture, carrying out scientific research based on the strategic road map and other relevant state directives in the development of region tourism. 

The next research work was carried on March 12-13 in the direction of the Gaynar branch of Kish River in Sheki, and this scientific research work is important for realizing preventive measures in the direction of forecasting flood events and preventing them.
