Within the initiative of the first vise- president of the Azerbaijan Republic Mehriban Aliyeva tree planting action was held in Sheki for the 650^th anniversary of outstanding poet Imaddedin Nasimi.    

For the first time in Azerbaijan history planting 650000 trees in a day attempt caused interest by the inhabitants of Sheki region. Tree planting action was held in front of Sheki region Haydar Aliyev Center.

In the action the director of ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center PhD on physics, doc Yusif Shukurlu and  the employees participated and planted the tree.
