shrem.az reports with reference to the science.gov.az website that the president of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Isa Habibbeyli participated and spoke at General Assembly of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).

The opening meeting of General Assembly of Turkish Academy of Sciences, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, was opened by the head of TÜBA, professor Muzaffar Sekar. The President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli delivered a report on "One Nation - Two States" model in the development of Azerbaijan and Turkey at the jubilee meeting.

In addition, heads of the Academies of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina also spoke at the anniversary ceremony of TUBA.

At the same time, a report on Israeli-Palestinian relations was also heard at the meeting.

At the meeting of General Assembly, elections were held for full and correspondent membership of Turkish Academy of Sciences.
