Opening the seminar, the Scientific Secretary of the Center E.Abdurahmanov, noting the special importance of the organization of scientific seminars, announced the topics of the seminar. "Regressive eco-geographical manifestations of some types of landscapes of Sheki-Zagatala region and ways to eliminate them" prepared by the head of "Landscape" department H.L.Mustafabeyli and the head of "Ecological Geography" department Y.R.Rahimov were presented at the seminar. Then, the head of “Biodiversity of Plants and Gene Fund" J.I.Mammadov presented a report named "Local pear varieties spread in Sheki-Zagatala region, mechanical and pomological features of the fruits of their wild forms". Afterwards, the speakers were asked questions on the topics, the questions were answered and discussions were held around the reports. It was recommended to publish articles in local and foreign magazines.
