The meeting was held between Biology and Medical Sciences Department of ANAS and Sheki Regional Scientific Center.

Vice-president of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova, academic secretary of Biology and Medical Sciences Department (BMSD), academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, consultant of ANAS, academician Garib Mammadov, correspondent members of ANAS - Zeynal Akparov, Nuru Bayramov, First Deputy Head of the Executive Power of Sheki City Hasan Hasanov and representatives of regional scientific and educational institutions had been to Sheki Regional Scientific Center (SRSC) of ANAS.    

The guests got acquainted to the exhibition that organized in the main building of SRSC, at the same time the condition of the center, visited a garden area where various plant species, varieties were cultivated and protected.   

Then, in the assembly hall of Heydar Aliyev Center thet situated in Sheki meeting was held between BMSD and SRSC.  

Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov opened the meeting and introduced the participants with the agenda.

Then, the director of SRSC, PhD on physics, docent informed about the main results of scientific and scientific-organizational action of Sheki Regional Scientific Center in recent years. Besides that, he spoke about the structure of SRSC, scientific-research directions, relations with international and local institutions, gained achievements, genefund section and etc.  

After it, academician Irade Huseynova’s and Zeynal Akperov’s reports about future plans and researchs of the institutes included to BMSD in Sheki-Zagatala district were listened.

In the meeting academician Garib Mammadov, corresponding member of ANAS Nuru Bayramov, scientific secretary of BMSD, PhD on agrarian sciences Afig Mammadov, director of Regional Experience and Resource Center on Environmental Clean Agriculture acting in Gakh region of ANAS, professor Amin Babayev, deputy director on scientific affairs Farhad Azizov, PhD on biology, department head of the center, professor F.N.Ibrahimov, advisor of the director of “Sheki-Ipek” AJC Teymur Musayev and doctor of medical sciences Tofig Mehdiyev  performed.

At the end, A.Amiraslanov gave instructions on the solution of existing problems and emphasized the importance of designing problem.
