On May 18, 2022, head of the department of “Folklore and Folk Arts” of Sheki REM of ANAS Irada Yusifova and employees of the department-  junior scientific researcher Tural Adishirinov, laboratory assistant Adishirin Khalilov visited folklore expedition in Girkhbulag and Kober Zayzid villages of Sheki region.

The members of the expedition talked to the director of Girkhbulag village high school Araz Ismayilov, the oldest resident of the village Latif Latifov, the  director of the village folklore club Yusif Latifov and collected information about the village folklore, culture, folk arts, recorded the historical name of the village and related legends.

Then our employees visited the village of Kober Zayzid and met with the director of the village secondary school Ramil Pashazade, the oldest resident of the village 90-year-old carpet weaver Guldesta Shikhaliyeva, elders Rasim Karimov and Gudrat Seydimov and spoke about the traditions of the village, paddy growing, the mystery of carpet weaver and had interesting conversations and valuable information.
