A seminar on "The image of Muhammad Amin Rasulzade in literature and public opinion" was organized at Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS

On February 21, 2024, a seminar on "The image of Muhammad Amin Rasulzade in literature and public opinion" was held in the assembly hall of Sheki RSC. Scientific workers of Sheki RSC participated in the seminar.

Vafa Atayeva, Scientific Secretary of Sheki RSC, who opened the seminar with her opening speech, wished success to the work of the seminar dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the founder of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, Muhammad Amin Rasulzadeh, who is the successor of the modern Azerbaijan Republic, and gave the floor to Tarana Abdullayeva, head of the Literary-cultural environment, folklore and ethnography department.

Tarana Abdullayeva emphasized in her report "Muhammad Amin Rasulzadeh in Azerbaijani Literary Studies" that Rasulzadeh's legacy does not consist only of political thought and spoke about his contributions to literary studies. She noted that Rasulzade's large-scale monographic researches such as "Contemporary Azerbaijani literature", "Aspirations of our century", "Azerbaijani cultural traditions", "Azerbaijani poet Nizami" are expressions of his literary-aesthetic and theoretical views. These works are very important in terms of the national awakening of the people, the return to the roots, and the development of literature.
