On December 28, 2023, General Meeting of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS was held. Members of the Scientific Council, scientific workers and other employees of Sheki RSC participated in the meeting. Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, the director of Sheki RSC, PhD in physics, docent Yusif Shukurlu introduced the participants to the issues on the agenda. It was adopted by daily vote.

Farhad Azizov, deputy director for scientific affairs of Sheki Regional Scientific Center, Ph.D in biology noted that in 2023, 1 doctor of science, 1 doctor of philosophy defense, 2 people were appointed to the defense in Sheki RSC, 37 scientific, scientific-mass articles and conference materials were published by the employees of Sheki RSC, which is more than the last makes a big difference compared to years. Speaking about the scientific-organizational activities, Farhad Azizov emphasized that 21 events related to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Haydar Aliyev, 2 events related to Shusha, 43 events were held with the direct participation of the employees of SRSC - a total of 66 events.

Later, the reports of Agil Mustafayev on the activities of the Trade Union Organization of Sheki RSC, Gudurat Bakirov on the activities of the Civil Defense Headquarters, Tajeddin Ibrahimkhalilov on the activities of the Experimental Farm of Sheki RSC, Gismat Ahmadov on the activities of the Supply and Service Department, and Namig Abdurahmanov on the activities of the Electronic Services Department were heard.

In the end, Yusif Shukurlu spoke about the biggest success of this year's international scientific conference on "Strategy of development of science in the regions in the light of Haydar Aliyev's intelligence" held at Sheki RSC on December 4-5, 2023, and about the high level of organization of the work who helped organize the conference rewarded with "Thank you notes".
