On October 27, 2023 the next scientific council meeting of Sheki Regional Scientific Center was held.  In the meeting the members of Scientific Council, scientific workers and the other employees of SRSC participated. The director of Sheki RSC, PhD on physics, docent Y.H.Shukurlu wished success to the work of Scientific Council, got acquainted to the participants with the agenda. The agenda was voted and adopted. Yusif Shukurlu informed the participants with the meeting of the Presidium. He also remembered that International scientific conference on the theme “Development strategy in the light of Haydar Aliyev’s intelligence in the regions” will be held on December 4-5, 2023.                        

The first issue on the agenda- is the review of the first version of the book "Prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev and Shaki" prepared by Shaki RSC in connection with the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in 2023 prof. Firdun Ibrahimov spoke about it. He mentioned the issues covered by the book and added that the book is a product of joint effort and work.

Scientific Secretary of the Center, Vafa Atayeva, according to the decision of the Presidium of ANAS No. 18/8 dated October 10, 2023, on the report on the results of scientific research conducted in 2023 in scientific research institutes of ANAS and other scientific and higher education institutions of the republic introduced the participants of the Scientific Council. As information, he said that the departments should submit their annual reports to the Scientific Secretary by November 20, 2023.

Reyhan Manafova, head of the public relations department, announced the letter of "Scientific Publications" publishing house about optimizing the level of h and i10 indexes in the Google scholar profile, raising scientific statuses and cooperation in the direction of supporting publications. In the letter, it is proposed to sign a memorandum between the said Company and Sheki RSC of ANAS. According to the decision of the Scientific Council, scientific workers can get to know the issue in depth by entering the presented website. Only after that, a decision on whether to sign the memorandum will be made at the next Scientific Council.

Chief specialist of the scientific and technical information department, Gunel Musayeva, informed about the fourth and fifth issues on the agenda, and said that 3 events are planned to be held in the IV quarter of 2023 within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev", one of them is planned to be held in October, and the other two are planned to be held in November. He also informed about the current status of the theses and articles received in connection with the International scientific conference on "Strategy of development of science in the regions in the light of Heydar Aliyev's intelligence". He noted that currently 34 theses and articles have been sent to the e-mail address mentioned in the announcement. In addition to Azerbaijan, theses and articles were sent from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Indonesia, and Russia.

Current issues on the agenda - The head of the Human Resources Department of the Center Ulviyya Osmanova informed about the transfer of scientific staff of the Mulberry silkworm breeding department Zarintaj Shukurova to the Department of Ecological Biophysics and Agil Mustafayev to the Department of Ecological Geography and scientific worker of the Department of History, Archeology and Epigraphy Aladdin Sultanov to the position of senior researcher.
