On August 12, 2023, Qafqaz Agabalayev, a senior researcher of the "Ecological Geography" department of the Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS, doctor of philosophy in geography, conducted environmental monitoring in the Damarchin branch of the Kish River and its surrounding areas.

During the monitoring, measurements were made to study the conditions of the formation of floods at the source of the river, the soil and vegetation were examined, and at the same time, research was carried out in order to evaluate the tourism potential of the "Meshebashi" waterfall, which is one of the natural monuments around the river channel.
