Head of “Mulberry silkworm” department of ANAS, Sheki RSC, PhD on biology, docent Guduret Bekirov were in a scientific mission in the Institute of Sericulture in Uzbekistan, Tashkent on April 9-15, 2023. During the mission the information about scientific research works in the “Sericulture” department of the Institute of Tashkent was gained, the discussions about creating new sorts of mulberry silkworm were made with researchers, sericulture scholars and with Bakhtiyar Ubaydullayev too.

During the mission the discussions were made with the head of “Biochemics” department professor Madyarov about preparing artificial feed and feeding mulberry silkworm, with A.B.Yakubov and E.A.Yarkina in “Genetics” department about creating partaclone,  head of “The diseases of mulberry silkworm” department, professor İsmatullayeva Dilarom Adilovna  and occurrence and prevention of diseases were discussed.

At the same time ShZEM-4, GE-143, Yagub and Chingiz sorts from “The selection of mulberry silkworm” department of SRSC introduced to the “Selection” department of the Tashkent Sericulture Institute and were given ORZU, Yulduz 3, GOZEL, Marxamat, Asaka, Marvarid, Gulshen, Nefis sorts and 10 boxes of silkworm eggs.

Scientific mission fulfilled according to the conditions of the agreement signed between “Sericulture” Institute of Uzbekistan and Sheki Regional Scientific Center on January, 2023.
