On March 27, 2023 an event was held related to March 27 “Science day” and the 100th anniversary of National Leader Haydar Aliyev with the organization of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS in Sheki Haydar Aliyev Center. In the ceremony head workers and delegations of Sheki Executive Power, Sheki District Organization of  NAP, Regional Cultural Administration and Sheki branch of ASPU participated. The participants of the event first visited the monument of the National Leader in Haydar Aliyev Center and viewed the exhibition dedicated to the life and activities of the great leader. Then the participants got acquainted with the exhibition dedicated to the scientific-organizational activity and scientific achievements of the Scientific Center.

The event continued with plenary speeches in the assembly hall of Heydar Aliyev Center. The director of Sheki RSC, docent Yusif Shukurlu informed about the essence of the event, establishment of "Science Day", past and present of Azerbaijani science.

Scientific secretary of Sheki RSC of ANAS E.Abdurahmanov made report about "Haydar Aliyev and dynamics of development of science in Azerbaijan", head of "Folklore and handicrafts" department I.Yusifova, "Haydar Aliyev and Azerbaijani language", junior researcher of "Folklore and handicrafts" department, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists T.Adishirinov on "Haydar Aliyev and youth policy".

Later, Chief Advisor of "Social-Political Humanitarian" department of Sheki Executive Power Anar Mammadov, noted that a series of events were held in Sheki in connection with the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader's birth, and today's event was organized at a high level. Deputy Chairman of Sheki District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party Ziya Valiyev shared information with the participants about the establishment and activity of the New Azerbaijan Party, its Shaki Organization, and talked about the construction works carried out during the leadership of the genius leader to the Republic. Z.Valiyev conveyed the congratulations of Sheki district administration of NAP to the staff of Scientific Center on the "Day of Science" and the arrival of the month of Ramadan.

Later, Rovzat Hajizakaryayev director of the city Folklore house named after Vagif Ibrahim, which operates under Sheki Regional Culture Department, spoke and said that he appreciated the exhibition and the organized event dedicated to the scientific achievements of the scientific center.

At the end of the event, a video titled "You are such a height" dedicated to the life and activities of the Great Leader was shown.
