The next meeting of the Problem Council on Humanities of the Council on Coordination Scientific Research of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on February 23, 2022.

Opening the meeting, the vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the Problem Council, academician Isa Habibbayli informed about the activities of the council in 2021 and the confirmed dissertation topics.

In the meeting 126 topics were discussed with visual presence of the Chairman of the Council, Academician Isa Habibbayli, deputy chairmen - head director of the Institute of Architecture and Art, Corresponding Member of ANAS Artegin Salamzadeh and Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics of Baku State University, Doctor of Philology Sanuber Abdullayeva, as well as Scientific Secretary of the Council, head scientific worker of the department of Azerbaijan-Asian literary relations named after Nizami Ganjavi of  ANAS, doctor of philological sciences Basira Azizaliyeva, and with online presence of other members of the Problem council and doctoral students and dissertators whose topics were discussed.

Also, the discussion of dissertation topics of the head of “Folklore and crafts” department Yusifova Irada Alibala, and scientific worker Abdullayeva Tarana Yashar of the department of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS were discussed.

During the meeting, Yusifova Irada Alibala's dissertation "Mikhail Sholokhov's creativity and Azerbaijani literature" was given the second index "Azerbaijani literature" index.

The topic of the dissertation of Abdullayeva Tarana Yashar "The genre of advice in the classical Eastern and Azerbaijani literature" was also approved at the meeting.

Then the scientific secretary of the Problem Council Basira Azizaliyeva presented the dissertation topic on the program of 36 doctors of sciences and 90 doctors of philosophy presented to the meeting in various specialties. Information on each topic and applicant was provided in the form of a presentation.

Council members took an active part in the discussions.
