The next monitoring was realized in Kurmukhchay, Hamamchay and Saribash areas of Gakh region by “Landscape” and “Ecological Geography” departments of ANAS Sheki Regional Scientific Center according to the work plan of 2021.  

During the monitoring it was realized in the investigated areas erosion processes activated under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors in the areas, soil degradation, observations and measurements on the level of loading of river beds with imported materials as a result of frequent floods in the region, as well as the study of ecotourism potential in the region.
