The next success achieved by the employees of SRSC

The claim document for the invention called “Bioextract from hazelnut peel” of the employees of Sheki Regional Scientific Center of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences PhD on biology Azizov Farhad Shirin, PhD on physics Shukurlu Yusif Hajibala, PhD on biology Khalilov was sent to Center of Examination of Patents and Trademarks under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, expertise of the claim document No. a 2017 0174 according to the 3rd paragraph of the 29th item of the Azerbaijan Republic about Patent on the invention named “Bioextract from hazelnut peel”  was made, it has been defined that the invention is compatible with patent conditions according to the 7th item of the 2nd paragraph of the Law, and it has been recommended to publish the document about patent in “Industrial Property Bulletin”.

The bioextract is rich for biological active substances besides important micro and macro elements, and it is used as a diuretic means in the treatment and prophylaxis of anemia, nerve disorders, adenoma of the prostate gland, skin diseases, it also has a wide range in confectionery and food industry, such as flavoring and food coloring.

Now, the employees is working on a project in the direction of commercialization the patent and working on technology for its industrial production.
